Tricky space problems in galleys can be solved by specifying the Coolmatic CB-36 or CB-40 built in coolboxes. They can provide normal and deep freeze and are filled from the top to save space and energy. The cooling unit is fitted on the side and in the case of the CB-36 and underneath on the CB-40. In both cases it can be removed and mounted up to 1.5 metres away from the box. Both units are fitted with the Danfoss BD35F compressor and as such are extremely power efficient. CCF Portable Fridge Freezers These extremely compact and stylish units are the ultimate solution to portable cooling. The flexibility these units offer is the option to run them either as a fridge or a freezer by the slide of s switch. They also offer the peace of mind of an integrated low voltage protector that actually switches the unit off once the battery gets below a preset level. Whats more, this is variable for the user to be able to select whether they are running off a starter battery or a consumer / leisure battery. Also incorporates automatic switchover from 12 to 24 to 110 to 240V on all models CCF35 upwards - intellegent sensing - will always select mains power source when available. The units ability to operate unaffected on the tilt makes them even more suited to the marine market. The new CCf50, launched this year offers even greater capacity, designed for a cooling range from 10 degrees celcius to minus 18 degrees celcius. Variable lid flexibility can open to the left, right, or can be removed. Incorporates 7 cooling stages operated by the push of a button - plus a new turbo feature that runs the box flat out until the desired temperature is reached. The added value of the optional insulated and protective cover improve the boxes performance by an extra 2 degrees, and provide protection against moisture and dirt, plus the feature of the four robust attaching rings built into the cover make them ideal for battening down in heavy seas. HDC Refrigerators The HDC range of refrigerators are designed for larger vessels. The range includes HDC 135, 130 litre freezer and three combined fridge and separate freezer compartments. The HDC 160, 142 litre fridge plus 16 litre ***freezer compartment, HDC 190, 142 litre fridge with 45 litre ***freezer compartment, and the range topping HDC 220, 172 litre fridge plus 46 litre ***freezer compartment. MDC Refrigerators The MDC range of built in refrigerators again utilise the Danfoss BD35F compressor unit, in this case within a built in cabinet that allows the unit to fit into a space left by an existing unit in the case of replacement - this will be of particular interest to river / inland waterways users who are ahving to replace gas operated units due to legislation. The MDC range are of course equally suitable for use at sea. RPA and RSA Ranges Integrated into the RPA and RSA ranges is the advantage of cold accumulator technology.The RPA 40 features a manual thermostat (push button operation), while in the Coolmatic RSA models with 60, 80 and 110 litres capacity, the TEC electronic programme control assumes full responsibility for the energy management of the cooling unit. A fully charged accumulator provides cooling for up to 12 hours with nil battery/power drain. If the accumulator storage capacity is exhausted the compressor is switched on automatically. RPA and RSA offer modern stainless steel fronted and lines fridges. RPA offers detachable cooling unit that can be mounted up to 1.5 metres away from unit. RPD Fridges In this series, which comprises of 40, 50, 65, 80 and 110 litre units, many innovative features come as standard. New patented double lock mechanism which secures the door top and bottom - keping it firmly closed in all situations - even at heavy sea with full bottles pressing from the inside. When the fridge is not in use, the vent position holds the door slightly open, preventing mould or odours from arising. Greater flexibility is offered by all models being able to be fitted with either a standard or flush mount installation frame - no longer do you need to carry bespoke product. The door panel can also be interchanged fore perfect tailoring to interior design. Variable door hinge - makes it easier to adjust refrigerators to individual on board situations - just like a domestic unit. New door grip - now recessed into the door for maximum user comfort. Large deep freeze compartments - *** on the RPD 110. Interior light as standard; vertical standing space for 1.5 and 2 litre bottles. RPD40 has remote mountable cooling unit - up to 1.5 m from unit (dimensions include this CU). RPF, RSF Freezers Designed to match in and double up with the RPD and RSD fridge units theses cabinets offer deep freezing power to enable you to keep a greater level of provisions for your journey. *** deep freezing on all models. Designed to utilise same installation frames and flexibility of the Standard or Flush mount frame. Mirrors the look and feel of the RPD and RSD fridges. Features condensation drain, fold up front grille to stop contents from sliding. Stainless steel interior and exterior panel, remote mounting coolong unit on the RSD model. RSD Fridges This series offers units in 60, 80, 110 and 115 litres capacity, and resembles the RPD series. In contrast to the sister line (RPD) the door panels and interior containers are exclusively designed in stainless steel. As with the RPD there is the option of fitting the same unit with either a flush mount or standard installation frame. RSD 115 is designed to double up with RSF 115 deep freezer, but can also be fitted 'stand alone' as the largest RSD fridge. It also offers the flexibility of a remote mount cooling unit.
