Sub-Sections In This Section click on a sub-section to see a full product list Foam Rim Steering Wheels Vetus steering wheels type KS feature stainless steel rims with a layer of semi-hard PU foam which has an integral skin. Consequently no more cold hands with these soft-feel beautiful ship's wheels. Spokes and cap are stainless steel, the hub is black polyurethane coated aluminium. These ship wheels are absolutely resistant against all weather conditions. Type KS 38, KS 45 and KS 55 are supplied in either grey or black. Mahogany Rim And Spoke Steering Wheels The boss of all Vetus steering wheels has a bore for 3/4" diameter shaft, tapered 1:12 and will therefore fit to most steering systems. Mahogany Rim Steering Wheels The spokes and the hub cap are made from stainless steel; the hub is made of aluminium. The wooden rims of these Vetus steering wheels are built up from laminated mahogany. This makes the rims much stronger and more attractive than rims fabricated from short lengths of solid timber. Mahogany Steering Wheels Vetus mahogany steering wheels types KA, KB and KC are supplied without hub cap. A brass or stainless steel hubcap should be ordered separately.
